Welcome to our Website.

Doldeheuwydd is a working farm in the Talyllyn Valley, a very scenic part of the Snowdonia National Park in Wales.

Visitors can observe the day to day work at the farm and stay in one of two self catering properties available to rent - Doldeheuwydd Farmhouse and Ysgubor Cottage (a very tastefully converted traditional stone barn).

Doldeheuwydd offers all of our visitors the peace and tranquility of the Snowdonia National Park and is within walking distance of the attractive Dolgoch Falls.

Wildlife can be seen in abundance in both the Talyllyn Valley and in the nearby Dysynni Valley, where Craig y Deryn or Bird Rock attracts Red Kites, Peregrines, Choughs, Cormorants and Gulls.

Tal-y-Llyn Lake not far from the properties Fishing is available locally on Talyllyn Lake and the mountains of Cader Idris tower above the valley with many opportunities for hill walking in this area of the Snowdonia National Park.

The Church of St Cadfan contains a 5' high Ynysmaengwyn stone dating from around 650 AD and bearing the earliest surviving example of written Welsh.
The busy seaside town of Tywyn is nearby and has miles of sandy beach as well as a cinema, tennis courts and a leisure centre with heated pool.

The Talyllyn Railway museum is also in Tywyn and you can travel on the narrow-gauge steam trains running up the valley opposite the farm.
